Pristine Water view Home, Located in the Community of Homes known as Water View Farms, Walk to Private Association Waterfront, Great Play Beach, Launch Kayaks

This charming updated home is set in idyllic Water View Farms overlooking Sengekontacket pond.  This well-thought-out home offers a beautifully landscaped yard and cottage-style living with indoor spaces that transition to the outdoor front and back decks.  The deck at the front of the house boasts beautiful water views, Adirondack chairs, and chaise lounge seating is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The back deck off of the kitchen and overlooking a lovely yard offers patio dining, a grill area, and seating for just relaxing.

The main living area features an open floor plan hosting the living, kitchen, and dining areas.  Cathedral ceilings give a sense of space and glass sliding doors to the deck and large windows provide abundant light throughout.  The living area has comfortable sofa seating centered around a TV and has lovely views through the glass doors at the front of the house. Mini-split AC keeps the living areas cool. 

The kitchen is well supplied for the cooks in the group and has a small breakfast bar seating for two.  The separate dining area seats six at a farm-style table.

The two bedrooms are located in a separate wing of the house and feature a primary bedroom en-suite with a Queen bed and TV. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds, TV and uses the hall bath just outside of this bedroom.  Each bedroom has a mini-split AC unit! 

 

Just a short distance from the house is the association waterfront area where you can launch kayaks or enjoy just sitting by the water watching the myriad of wildlife that call Sengekontacket home in the summer.  Kayaks can be rented and delivered to the waterfront during your stay.

Enjoy several walking trails in the common lands or make your way to Pecot Point Preserve as seen on the map. Oak Bluffs Center and Town Beaches are just 2.5 miles from the house or venture a little further to the other towns on the island each with their distinct characteristics.  Public Beaches on both the north & south shores are but a 15-minute drive from the house.  For those who love to dine out, the island is famous for its multitude of dining establishments available in each town.
